what signs tell you, or surprise you into recognising that your (personal) world is expanding/growing?

I luv this question.
For me, I think it's the very subtle surprises that reveal themselves as small but expansive changes....sometimes they are hard to discern, like a flower that is in bloom: you can't see the gradual changes, but change does happen and before you know it, it's fully bloomed into something beautiful. Maybe the flower feels this blooming n expansion, maybe we can too of we really open our senses up.
The signs are also the recognition that I'm not the same person I was last year, or even yesterday...signs that the fixed ideas I have abt myself n of the world, are not so fixed, and seeing that I'm more than I thought I was....
That subtle sign or feeling that inner growth is happening is a feeling of 'growth' and 'rightness' --feelings of the positive joy of learning are present...it's suddenly realizing that I have people coming into my life that contribute to a shared harmony rather than discord....it's sharing ideas on here n 360 and stretching my mind...and the feeling that some meetings are meant specifically for a common shared growth, etc.

When i step out of my comfort zone and i know my world is expanding because i feel a small or big challenge.
This is a healthy thing to happen its in this way that we grow.

A regular self-introspection helps me evaluate if I am adding on points to my life or I am missing something somewhere.
For me expansion or growth is reaching a higher or different but better level of understanding. This understanding can be about anything----abt myself, abt people I know or I don't know. Concepts which are new for me or for which I get a new insight. It is like going across the table & seeing what the other person was able to see but we had our back turned against it.

I just know that everyday I am a day older and every minute I am exposed to something new. This adds to my life's experience and as the days go by my world gets bigger and better.

whenever i come online and see you i feel that yea, my personal world is growing, whenever i read a new question and think about it finding new answers i feel that yes my personal world is growing. while walking around just seeing new things, trying to understand or just observe makes me feel about the increasing boundaries of my personal world. hearing news of deaths, of politics, of rapes, of murders, of abuses, of birth, of celebration, of improvement, of discovery i feel the boundaries of my personal world merging with the worlds.
