You need to get loads of Vitamin C into, this will build up your immune system again. Your best bet would be to fill up on citrus fruits and berries. Maybe fresh orange juices or just get lots of vitamin C sugarless tablets into you. The Zinc is good that will help you heal quicker. If you are a smoker just remember that smoking leaches vitamin C from your body. Try to have at least 4 servings a day of Vitamin C foods/tablets whilst you have a cold. Rose hips tea is also a good way to get Vitamin C into you, its delicious, I love it. Rose hips vitamin C contains bioflavonoids and other enzymes that help C assimilate. They are the richest natural source of Vitamin C. (The C is actually manufactured under the bud of the rose - called a hip.).
Hope this helps a bit.

You didn't say whether you've had any fever; if so, you may have a bacterial infection, in which case you may need an antibiotic. But if you just have a stuffy nose with only mild cough, keep in mind that a cold can last at least a week to fourteen days. Try some chicken noodle soup and take a single ingredient guafinesson to keep everything loose. Other than that sounds like you're doing what you need to be doing. Hope you feel better soon.

Your symptoms of sore throat, stuffy nose and headache and it's over a week is no longer viral. It's a bacterial infection already. Your need to see your family doctor before complications set in.

You didn't give any symptoms you are experiencing, but your problems might be from allergies.
