I have a laptop i have to use in school and a travel battery. At the beginning of the year, the two put together will last up to 6 hours and ill just plug it in when i get home. And now, the battery seems to last only 3 hours, and i plug it in all night at home. What should i do to make the battery last longer again?

charge it 100%, then let it die all the way several times. You may be able to erase its time memory this way. You probably messed it up in the first place by not letting it fully die before you plugged it back in. You may have to get an new battery, if you are still within warranty, you might be able to get one for free from the retailer or manufacturer.

do you collaborate the battery? you supposed to do that 1 time a month!! go to your power settings under where you go and change screensaver (not wallpaper) and disable all the settings charge laptop to a full then unplug it and let laptop run all the ay down untill it won't come on at all!! then plug it in and let it charge all the way up!! then turn pc on and see if that helped! if not, then the battery may be refurbished! the refurbish process is charge all the way unplug! leave laptop off during refurbish!wait 10 minutes then plug it in leave for few hours! unplug wait five minutes then plug back in charge for 1 hour then unplug then check to see if more battery life! the battery maybe going bad!
