More like I've seen a model that looked about an "85 model and when I saw the front of it I realized it was more like a '95 model......Then I feel like a real 'idiot'.
The late models didn't look like that when I was a kid !!

I think your trying to say that what looked like a attractive young women from behind was old and mutton dressed as lamb. The car thing made no sense as antique cars can look beautiful so it was a poor comparison.
