Now then, now then guys n' gals, eurrgh eurrrgh eurrrgh, I have here, a letter from a young laydeh, which says, " Dear Jim, can you fix it for me to be a princess? - Love from Charlotte."
As it 'appens, I'm very old and possible dead, I'm not sure, but in the arm of my magic chair, is, eurrgh eurrgh eurrrgh, a princess outfit, just for you, and a Jim'll fix it badge.

Jim'll Fix It reminds me of kids trying to eat cream cakes while on a roller coaster. Don't know why, it just does! Never had the pleasure of receiving a medallion from him, or a Blue Peter Badge, or a Wac-a-day plaster from Timmy Mallet, or a Blankety Blank Cheque Book & Pen, or even a Dusty Bin! I need to fill this void in my life! LOL

How sad am I. I not only wrote in but the thing I wanted most was to meet the man himself. Needless to say my letter was never picked! I'm so glad not though, I think sitting on Jimmy Saville's knee might have scarred me for life!!!!!!!LOL

I had some friends who had a Jim'll Fix it soap on a red ribbon and they tried telling me that they had been on the show. Did they think I was stupid or something?!!

I remember him well.
I wanted to write in but I never did.
Always wanted to try and drive and lorry because I love that hissing sound it makes with the air brakes.
Still hoping.

My secret shame ( i was 5 so think it's allowed) was that I wrote in to meet Orville... having now seen the Louis Theroux interview with Keith Harris - am very, very pleased my letter wasn't picked either....

I wanted to fire a shoulder mounted rocket launcher (and would still love to have a go). And no, I was never offered the opportunity.
