Whats all this talk about the zodiac signs being "off"?

Are ya’ll telling me that I'm not really a Scorpio (Nov. 1st 1984) and my son isn't really a stubborn @ss Leo (Aug. 20th 2004)??? Please explain!

Of course you are a Scorpio and your son is a Leo. But there's more to just your Sun sign. If there would only be a Sun sign this planet would be pretty boring and predictable. If you would walk across the street 1 of 12 people you come across would be a Gemini. Exactly 100% like all other Gemini's. However the fact is that we are not all the same. You've also got a Rising sign, Moon sign, 12 houses etc. This is how 2 Scorpio's can be completely different in how they communicate, how they feel, what makes them tick etc.

This is why you can never rely on the old theory that Scorpio and Leo don't match. Because they could if you do a complete chart and find that there are positive planetary influences. That also means that you can never rely on having a great relationship as a Scorpio with a Cancer because the chart might prove that there are not so good planetary influences. At least that is what I have heard/read so far about all this Astrology thing.
