Read some good profiler / serial killer / manhunt books.

You'll never get the answers in something this brief.

Then, realize, everyone has it in them, just that 95% don't access it, via social conditioning.

Those that do such things, are not part of Common Society, and do not care for consequences, or the feelings or survival of others.

Like a shark, they do what they want, until they are put down.

Ted Bundy....had no self confidence.. he murdered to gain control over women...he needed that power in his life. The only woman to escape him was the one that hit him back and she was p***ed off that he'd hit her so when she fought back she was angry and that scared him because he wasnt prepared for it. I think men like Bundy ...cant be shown love from an early age or they wouldnt hate women so much.

intelligent - articulate - good looking and healthy have absolutley nothing to do with being a complete psychopath! in fact, many many murderers are the most "normal" people you could possibly think of (as far as how they portray themselves to the public).

that's what makes them so scary and gives them the ability to commit these crimes...people trust them....

f**king freaks..

Psychopath!

Also - maybe intelligent people like the challenge that murdering gives them...i.e. not being caught, the power that they can exercise over a huge number of people involved in the chase of them.....the feeling of superiority....etc

Murderers are not rationale people clearly but intelligent people can still operate very methodically and intelligently albeit it in areas that to the rest of us defy belief!

power, although he had confidence and looks he always had low paid jobs and felt inferior to lots of people. when he was in the midst of his crime he said the surge of euphoria he got was because he was in control and could do what he wanted. he didn't get off on the actual murder itself but he would see it through to lessen his chances of being caught.

lol.. some psychiatrist or suchlike who was familiar with his case said that somewhere in his childhood a woman hit him in the back of the head with a blunt instrument - that was his favoured way of killing women. Doesn't explain much though eh.
