i don't think its a question of what's better, its more like personal likeness and as for me its rock, and some pop rock music is sometimes good.

Rock is way better in my opinion. It uses pure music and doesn't rely on computer generated noises half of the time.

Pop,... some times you find out a Genre that normally isn't that great, doesn't completely suck.
