Yes, I have had this position for four years and they removed me from the job and placed me into a different position that I have had no interest in. Now I can't even look at my boss without feel anger towards her. I want to know the reason for being moved. They say the she has the right to put employees in what ever position they feel is right as long as the pay in not less then the previous one. I think I might try to move to another department in the company.

Yes most definitely!!! if you are not happy with a person you work your job performance is going to suffer never mind your state of mind and the feeling of not wanting to be there...at the end you want to run away or never go to work....I suggest looking for another job where the company is family oriented. You will always find "that kind of person" in every job but sometimes they are not directly involved with you. I would really suggest another job...depending on your situation take it easy but surely. Hope all goes well.

No doubt about it.
We always value more the opinions of those we like the most.
If we like our boss, his/her opinion does really matter to us, and so we make bigger efforts to be good at what we do, and that's where joy comes from. On the other hand if we don't like the boss, we keep losing moral, and the job itself loses interest. It is one thing I do care when applying for a job, is whether or not I like the people I'll be working for/with.

YES, your boss can make or break your job. I have a boss that is very unhappy in her position & it's taken out on ever-one, which makes us dis-like our job & her also.

Yes Definatley! If you lack respect for your superior and likewise he/she for you then you start to become totally disinterested in your job! It makes you unhappy and sometimes feel intimidated, therefore a sense of insecurity occurs and you just wanna get out!! It doesnt matter how old you are, the feelings are just the same!

Yes.
And her or him could be a bully,in which case you
could take things further. Having said that, rather than saying
you could be the bully id just say that you both dont get along;
and this occurs so often with so many people,its a wonder
that any work gets done anywhere.

Definately!!! If you don't like and respect your boss, you are not going to enjoy your job or do it to the best of your advantage.
