Ozzy Osbourne On 'Sesame Street'
Date: Saturday, September 07 @ 04:45:25 CDT
Topic: Jokes and Humor
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday, "Our old friend Ozzy Osbourne, God bless him, taped a segment for 'Sesame Street.' Ozzy was on 'Sesame Street.' There was one embarrassing incident when he bit the head off Big Bird. That was kind of -- I think the kids kinda freaked on that one."

They have had musical celebrities on there as long as I can remember; they had Stevie Wonder and Buffy Ste. Marie on when I was watching in the early '70's, and sometimes more recently, when I would channel surf I would see others on there. It's a good way to connect with the child demographic, and their parents, and at this point in Ozzy's career, maybe he's trying for more universal appeal.

You're not dreaming. He did tape an episode in late August 2006 or early September of 2006. I have not seen the episode, but it is in fact true that he taped a episode for the show.

Sounds awesome. I'll have to start watching again if Ozzy's on the show.
