Hiya, I have been reading contributions on this forum when I was going through my miscarriage by the end of January 2007 and I found it very very help[fgul and comforting. I have another dilemma this time. I am pregnant again which is a fantastic news but I am slightly puzzled since I don't know how many weeks since I conceived... I completed my miscarriage naturally on 29/1/07 (negative pregnancy test) and on 16/2/07 I started my period (or I think it was a period), it lasted for four days, more like brown discharge but not as much as my usual period, and the first day was very painful so I had to take some medication, but only once. My next period was not due until about 173/07 (in few days) but I was little bit impatient and I did my pregnancy test on last Friday 9/3/07 and it was positive, repeated on 11/3/07 and again positive. Considering the ovultaion happens 14 days prior your period I am now not sure how many weeks I am. If anyone has any comment I't be glad to hear it.

CONGRATULATIONS!

like you i had a miscarriage and im now pregnant again, however it took a bit longer for me but im now 19 weeks and soooo happy.

it does sound like you are quite early, make a dr appointment asap and explain this to them, he will be able to arrange a scan and from that they can tell you exactly how long you are and when you are due.

good luck! xxx

You probably won't find how far along you are until you have your sonogram. Most doctors suggest waiting until you have a normal period to try and conceive so they can tell how far along you are. Ovulation doesn't always happen 14 days after your period. You need to count the first day of your period and subtract 14 to find out when you probably ovulated. Example: On a 29 day cycle, you would ovulate on or around day 15(29-14=15).
Congratulations though!!!! Right now, your doctor might give you an estimation on when you are due or how many weeks you are, but it wouldn't be definite until you have your sonogram.

Who knows lol, but CONGRATS :) the best thing i can say is call your Dr. and means you have had a miscarriage in the past they will get you in for a ultrasound ASAP and they will tell you how far along you are. Thats what i think you need to do. They are usually very accurate. I wasnt sure on both my boys and had early ultrasounds and they gave me due dates both times and they were within 2 weeks of when i had them :) I think you should call right away this morning and get in for an ultrasound, it will make you feel better too :) Sorry to hear of your loss. Goodluck on this pregnancy and take care of yourself :)

sounds to me like you might be as early as 4 weeks pregnant.

Have a talk with your doctor at some stage and they will book you for an ultrasound in maybe 3-5 weeks time. This will be able to tell you fairly accurately how far along you are.
