I have a notebook with 512 MB ddr2 ram, but i am not sure whether it is 1*512MB or 2*256MB. but i am sure there are 2 memory module slots (at least the user's guide says). what does "Memory Slots 2 (2 banks of 1) " mean??

You have one single ram of 512 if its say 2 banks of 1. if you want to know than turn your laptop there will be a expansion slot behind your laptop to upgrade.

You are not allowed to use your laptop at Bank of America AND at Wachovia, only one or the other or it will melt.

naaaa...... its JUST JUST A SLOT..... LABELED 1 and 2 .... AS IF YOUR COUNTING .....

IT DOEST MATTER WHERE YOU'll INSERT THE MEMORY... BUT ILL RECOMMEND TRY TO FILL UP FIRST THE SLOT NUMBER ONE....
