Normal blood pH is 7.35 to 7.45
Acidosis causes different problems depending upon the cause of the acidosis. There is metabolic acidosis and respiratory acidosis.
There are all kinds of problems associated, regardless of the cause. It can induce hyperventilation, severe rise in body temperature, kidney dysfunction, seizures, electrolyte changes which can cause cardiac and blood pressure changes, etc... The list is long.

The normal pH of human arterial blood is approximately 7.40 (normal range is 7.35-7.45),
Acidosis is an increased acidity (i.e. hydrogen ion concentration) of blood plasma. Generally acidosis is said to occur when arterial pH falls below 7.35.
Respiratory acidosis
Respiratory acidosis results from a build-up of carbon dioxide in the blood due to hypoventilation. It is most often caused by pulmonary problems, although head injuries, drugs (especially anaesthetics and sedatives), and brain tumors can also bring it on. Emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, severe pneumonia, and aspiration are among the most frequent causes. It can also occur as a response to chronic metabolic alkalosis.
Metabolic acidosis
Metabolic acidosis may result from disturbances in the ability to excrete acid via the kidneys. Renal acidosis is associated with an accumulation of urea and creatinine as well as metabolic acid residues of protein catabolism.

The normal pH of human blood is 7.35-7.45, in acidosis the pH dips below 7.35. Very severe acidosis may be as low as 6.9-7.1. The acidic shift in the blood is significant because the proteins (i.e. body tissues, enzymes, etc.) in the body will be permanently denatured by a ph that is either too high or too low, thereby leading to widespread tissue damage, organ failure, and eventually death... hope the information is enough..

blood is slightly neutral its pH is 7.3 - 7.4. if the blood's pH becomes acidic you could have a number of problems, the most serious is respiratory failure.
