because they thought that they are right while you thought that they are wrong. if you believe in what they believe in you'll be cranky too in the eyes of those who doesn't believe in you, but you'll be perfectly normal from the eyes of people with the same faith as you. In short, 'Cranky men aren't cranky among other cranky men .'

It's fear. Insecurity. People who are secure in their beliefs wouldn't bother replying to the ridiculous questions that are posted. Others, whose religion is a result of indoctrination, habit, tradition etc. have doubts that they refuse to face up to. This makes them feel under threat with a need to justify what they believe....or, as someone said earlier, they need to get laid more often.

Because religion does something to people.... most don't know the difference between believing in god and BEING god. They don't understand that all the way to heaven is heaven... which means that If you are looking for heaven on earth you will find it... and if you are looking for hell, you can find that too... and unfortunately most are too consumed with not going to hell that they create it themselves

because they are hypocrites with no sence of humor and when they have to take a close look at themselves they realize they suck and they get cranky...see?

They are pissed off that everyone doesn't believe what they believe. You'd think someone with all that religion would be HAPPY! Hmmmmm makes you think.
