I am nearly 11 weeks along with my first and wonder how soon I'll feel the first movements. When did you first feel your baby?

With my first I felt her at about 16 weeks or so, which I believe is quite early.
With my second I felt her at 18-19 weeks
With my 3rd I felt him at about 12 weeks
I'm now pregnant with #4 and I felt him at about 14 weeks.

It really varies on baby's size, position, where the placenta is, your weight and size.
BUT when it happens it's totally worth the wait. Here are a few links
by the way congrats!!!

I was sure that I was feeling the baby this past week at 19 weeks, but I know that before I was feeling the little one and just didn't recognize it. Honestly at times I thought I was just gassy or going to have a bowel movement. It's hard to tell the difference at first, but now that I can it's an awesome feeling.

I have a 2 year old and was about 4 months when I felt the first movement. I couldn't wait for that moment, because I was beginning to think something was wrong. I know of someone who only felt their baby move once in their whole pregnancy. There was nothing wrong. I guess it just depends on the baby.

I was lucky.. I felt my baby girl move when I was 14 weeks pregnant with her (VERY early... I'm a small person though, so that's probably why). I think she was mad at me for doing heavy housework at the time ;-) I was about 18 weeks before she really started kicking me though.

I would say enjoy knowing she's in you without feeling her while you still can! After week 24 or so, her movements were just downright painful, especially when she decided to wedge her foot in between my ribs...

But, no worries, you will feel her soon enough!

Each pregnancy is different and so is each woman. With my first pregnancy, I didn't feel movement until about 22 weeks along. My second, I was about 13-14 weeks along.

It is actually kinda hard to decifer movements during your first pregnancy. It sounds a little weird, but what you think may be gas bubbles minus the cramps, could very well be your baby making its presence known! I think I was about 4.5 months along with my daughter when I felt her first really big BUMP TURN KICK. There was NO mistaking that. I was about 3 months pregnant with my son(about 13 weeks) when I felt him wiggle-but I knew what to feel for.
It's not unusual to be several months along with your first before you really feel movement.
Congratulations to you, and enjoy your pregnancy and motherhood!

I was about 14 weeks and the baby was very active at 16 weeks and now less active at 18 weeks. Good Luck I am sure you will feel your baby soon. With my 1st it was around 16 weeks.

If I was lying on my belly on a hard floor, I could feel the movements much sooner...if I am remembering correctly, it was around 3 1/2 - 4 months pregnant...I loved those days...I hope you do too. It is soooo exciting...

I haven't felt him/her yet, but I'm looking forward to it like you! You're supposed to feel the first movements between 16-20 weeks!
