to have an average of 132 for 3 games she must score a total of 132 * 3 pts
132 * 3 = 396

so far she scored 118 and 138
118 + 138 = 256

so she needs to score 396 - 256 pts
396 - 256 = 140

answer - 140

(118 +138 + x)/3 = 132
x = 132*3 -118 - 138 = 396 - 256
x = 140

132*3 = 396 (So u know what the three games must add up to)
396-118-138 = 140 (What the average must be minus the first two games)

140 is what she must score.
