Hi! dear, your periods has been delayed by 13 days & if were pregnant u would have got a +ve report for ur test coz 13 days are enough to get de test right.but to be on de safer side, do the test in the morning when u urinate for de first time and remember to collect de mid stream. just do it, i m sure dat would also give a -ve report coz de reason for ur delay of periods is stress.

I have been trying to understand what you have written and as far as I can make you - your period is 2 weeks late. You did a pregnancy test last night and it was negative.

I hope this is right so far.

So I think your possibilities are:

(1) The pregnancy test is right. You are not pregnant (safe sex - Yeah!) and there would have to be another reason for you to have a late period. This could be stress or illness related. Usually by the time you are 25yo if you already have regular periods then they will tend to continue to be regular until you approach menopause - barring illness. Sometimes you might just have a late period for no particular reason, but it might be a good idea to see your doctor to get checked out. Especially if you feel unwell or have any pains in your tummy.

(2) The other possibility is that the pregnancy test is wrong. This is not very likely 2wks after a missed period, but it HAS happened before. You would be best seeing your doctor for the more accurate blood test, if we think this might be the case.

So all in all, you should probably talk it over with your doctor and think about getting a blood pregnancy test (more accurate) and if you might have some other thing causing illness and causing your period to be late.

If you feel like it, you could do a repeat urine test. You might want to use a different test kit, just in case the first one was faulty, but usually they are pretty good and after 2 wks it should be pretty reliable.

It takes about a week for a fertilized embryo to implant and start producing the pregnancy hormone and about another 4-7 days for that hormone to start being metabolized by your body (i.e. showing up in your urine). Still, if you were pregnant it would most likely still be too early for there to be enough of that hormone to cause a positive pregnancy test.

If I understand what you wrote correctly, it's been about 2 weeks since your period was due. You could have just ovulated late, which would delay your period. Or you could be pregnant. If you are pregnant, it might still be too soon for even an early detection pregnancy test to show it. You will really have to wait another week and test--use an early detection test like Answer. If you're really, really worried and can't wait till then, go to the doctor and have them do a blood pregnancy test. They can detect very low levels of the pregnancy hormone in the blood.

No offense, but I agree, that was really hard to read and I have a hard time believing you're 25 because of that. If you are that age...learn to type properly because that makes you look younger. As in 13. Just trying to help...more people take you seriously if you type in plain English.

You're right, use first morning's urine for the most accurate test results. If you don't get your period in another two weeks, go see a doctor, no matter what the test says. Good luck!

No you are not pregnant. Delay in period is because of some another reason like hormonal disturbance or tension or some illness etc. Need not to worry.
