wrong turn is one of my favorite slasher type movies. You don't care for that type of movie, right? But that is why there are so many different flavors of movies in existence. If everybody in the world liked the same stuff, it would be a boring time at the movies. This way, people who like action/adventure stuff, get to see that. People who like horror get horror. Chicks get chick flix. If done properly, kids get their movies (lots of movies made for kids are horrible actually; full of death and very violent subject matter). It is great that there are a variety of stuff out there, a little for everybody. And as far as horror and gore go, even that goes around in a circle of sorts; sometimes lots and lots of it out in theaters, sometimes hardly anything. Movies are still magical places, where you don't have to be anything except interested in the subject for about an hour and forty minutes!
:o)

I really enjoyed Wrong Turn. I didnt know they were making another one. There was bits in the first one that made my stomach churn a bit, so if the second one is going to be worse I think Ill have to take a bucket to the cinema with me. I love films like that though, especially The Hills Have Eyes. It really freaks me out because they could actually happen

Gorey films are the BEST. I hate it when people get all grossed out. Seriously. It's a movie and they're like 'oh my god, that's soooo foul!'
Haven't heard of that one, though, Maybe I'll see it when I get some more money. lol

We loved 'Wrong Turn' -so glad we saw it at the cinema,it didn't have half the impact on dvd! Absolutely love horror films-the gore doesn't matter as long as it's a well made film!
Didn't really like gorefests like 'The Devils Rejects'-that was all gore but no plot or decent acting, don't like films that rely solely on gore & bodycount to entertain you...need a good scare psychologically!!

I love gory films!! Horror movies are my favourite type of film - I have Wrong Tun and really enjoyed it, I didn't know they were making a second one so thanks for the heads up, I'll try and track it down!
One of my favourite gory movies is Braindead, an early Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings director), it doesn't take itself too seriously and has some great totally outrageous, over the top blood & guts in there!

I love horror movies, but I don't really like gore. I'll tolerate it for a good movie though. The ones that come to mind are Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House of a Thousand Corpses, Cabin Fever, Wrong Turn, Hostel, and the Saw movies.

I love gory films if they're done right. If it's gory it's got to look real. I've seen some gory films that have lokoed so fake. Good examples of gory films that look real are any of the Saw trilogy and Hostel.
