One of the most diverse cultures in the world, we have asian, black, hispanic, eurpoean and white people, our art is renowned across the world as is our literature: William Shakespeare was british as was geoffrey chaucer, we concieved the Beatles and the rolling stones, not to mention nick drake, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, we had huge influence over world music in the 60s up to now!
We have free university and one of the most highly educated workforces in the world our illiteracy rate is 0.2%
We respect all independent thought and ideals e.g communism
We over the past 20-30 years have integrated homosexuality into our culture and its now accepted as much as heterosexuality
London is deemed to be the centre of the world, financially, culturally, and politically
america is almost the opposite with exceptions!

As an American, I can admit Britain is a superior nation that offers far better educational opportunities and medical care than the USA.
Britain has better morals, and a much brighter future now that it has joined the EU.

I have just seen your reaction to another question on here. You told a racist to "****-off, you ****". I can only describe that as sheer class, mate!
I also agree with your points above. There are so many Sun -reading 'tards in the UK now, whingeing on about the poor economy and ethnic minorities that I consistently have to pinch myself to make sure that I am in Britain 2007 and not Germany 1937.
