considering what he has done so far at sunderland, and potentially what he will do when the black cats are eventually promoted, keano will be a leading contender for saf's post...
he is my personal pick, sparky is next... it's just amazing how these two instill some good work ethics and discipline in their respective clubs...

Roy Keane is doing a fantastic job at Sunderland FC. I hope he will be the next Manager at Man. UTD., since Sir Fergie originally wanted him to succeed him when he retires.
They had a falling out in 2005, but seem to be back on track since Roy has taken over as Sunderland's Manager. In addition, many members of the press and Sir Fergie are now stepping forward and backing Keane in some of the controversial things he has said over the years.
Many fans in the U.S. would love to see Roy Keane as the Manager of Manchester United.
In fact, it would be great if he would come to the U.S. and be the Coach of the U.S. Men's National Team before the next World Cup.
Carlos has made some negative comments in the press about not wanting to wait around for Sir Fergie to retire.
There is also talk about former Man. UTD. great Eric Cantona being interested in the position of Manager.

I think he will be. Hes doing a great job with the Mackems and Fergie will stay for 2 more years, which will give Keano further chance to prove hes up to a big job like Man Utd.

No, I thought there would be a chance of him joining Carlos Queiroz as partners there. But Sir Alex Ferguson was reported as saying that if & when he retires it would be only if Carlos took over as Manager. Shame really I reckon those two would be good for Manchester United`s Future.

I don't think it's easy to predict a manager's future as things in England are just getting tricky season after season.
In the same time I have to admit that he has great potential to as well as Mourinho to make it despite not having the experience required to be at this level (world class)
Good Luck!

God i hope so - for two reasons - one, cos i sure as hell dont want a foreign coach come in - especially not carlos queiroz - and secondly cos i dont want hughes or strachan!
Also, it would be nice to grab him away from sunderland and ruin them again!!
