yeah, he was a part of the last world series florida marlins team, the small, fast centerfielder, that seemed to always hit the ball were the other team wasnt... looked like he was going to be something amasing, got traded to the cubs last year, now i believe hes on the dodgers...anyways people thought he would keep getting better, but I think he really is just an average player, besides being above average speed wise, he isnt an outstanding contact hitter, and definetly doesnt get much in the way of power... if its for ur fantasy league, I would stay away unless u have stats for SB, or your other outfielders really suck... I mean honestly I liked him on the marlins, but he really didn't get any better last year like people thought he would, and I just think he's to average to really get excited about in fantasy baseball... he'll provide stability every week most likely, like give u a hand ful of hits, above average steals, dont expect any homeruns, but theres people out there that can provide maybe not better stats, but atleast will help in a certain area...

I think pierre is a fine player. he led the NL in hits last year, and he is always a threat on the basepaths due to his speed and ability to steal bases. He doesn't have a lot of HR power but has the speed to run in to some doubles and triples. overall he is not a superstar, but he gets the job done.

Juan Pierre plays for the Dodgers, not the Cubs. He hits for average, not power, and has a below average arm in center field. He is quick, but if you look at his caught stealing, he is then just an average base stealer.

He is a speedy player. I will steal a lot of bases, but little power. He is a good player. He has to stay healthy. He been hurt last 2 year that slow him down a little.
