Do liberals believe the lies they tell or are they just trying to manipulate people?

I have seen so much liberal propaganda here and it begs the question, do they really believe it?

My favorite is that the media isn't slanted to the Left. You'd have to be one of three things to believe that the media, in aggregate, isn't Leftist controlled:

1. Ignorant
2. Naive
3. Devious

I guess you could throw in apathetic, too...

First of all conservative media is the one who manupulates the people.

Did your conservative media report Halibourton from moving to Dubai??? They are moving to Dubai because of tax reasons.

Let me give you three examples from Bill Oreilly show.

1) He said on Fox news that one of the kids who was kidnapped in missouri and fouind like a month ago enjoyed being with his captor and the moron calls himself the protector of the children.

2) yesterday he said that the kids who got burnt in Bronx NY city, he expressed sympathy but his channel cannot comfirm if they are illegal aliens or not. He is the most inhuman person. He uses everything.

and if the liberal media says global warming is bad it hurts ya cuz you probably have a gas guzller.

Dont you think FOX is completely right controlled? I mean isnt it owned by the Bush administration? What do you think the convervatives of these days has done anything for the development. The idiots has given tax breaks during war time. How will they fund the war? Borrow money? thats why United States has like 10 trillion dollars in debt. Does your fox news tell that? NO. Why ? cuz you cannot handle the truth.

I don't like CNN very much either. I thought Bill was a good guy with strings attached to his boss but everyday I hear what he said on his show the man is not a human but a clear moron.

While you may have some valid points, the way you chose to make them is:

1) Inappropriate for Y! Answers
2) only serving to incite those same liberals to flame you for making comments like this.

As a conservative, I've found that liberals and conservatives ultimately have the same goals, more or less. It's just the way in which we achieve those goals that differs.

NPR did an interesting study recently on how to find common ground in a two-party system. When that happens, things tend to get done. I wish BOTH sides...including you...would stop flaming the other side and sit down and try to accomplish something other than stating how dumb the other side must be.

the pictures published on blaze the place taken at approximately 8;30 interior the morning. Is that the mendacity Ed grew to become into relating? It somewhat is a spin you fell for.or purely wanted to have faith. the different pictures published the place taken before midday. are you able to verify a distinction even then? I doubt it. Your purely pissed that any one confirmed up. you does no longer understand a certainty if it bit you on the azz. Denial is extra beneficial than a river in Egypt.

I've often wondered the same thing about conservatives. I'm just trying to better the world, that's all.

And quite frankly, I think we all need to get over this Lib vs. Con thing. It's keeping all of us down by keeping us divided.

Cons on this board love to talk about the liberal media and criticize liberals for not seeing that bias. Yet I never see cons cite specific examples.
To see an example of political bias, just watch Fox. Count how many times they refer to Rudy as "America's Mayor". I'm not talking about O'Reilly or one of the commentary programs. I'm referring to "straight" newscasts.

Remember, liberals believe that anyone who disagrees with them is a racist, bigot and homophobe. Therefore, if the media isn't completely comliant ot their beliefs than it is slanted.

I really don't believe liberals lie. I think they are honest people and love America. But I do think they are completely wrong in their beliefs. Their beliefs, for the most part, do exactly the opposite of their intentions.

and im not saying that you are necessarily wrong.. but just because the media may focus on emotionally driven stories and have intellectual discussions on topics doesnt make them "leftist controlled." it makes them credible, unlike fox news or limbaugh
