I don't know if anyone elses notices this but on the street I often notice a random shoe just lying there (or on top of bus shelters). How the hell does someone lose a shoe. Surely you would notice if you lost your shoe!!

It can only be from when someone is walking home drunk. That's the only time I can think of when you might conceivably not notice that you were missing a shoe.

It's the Cinderella phenomenom. Fairy tales are breaking into our reality. I live by a canal and there's always trolls under the bridge, they look like kids drinking cider but I know the truth. You'll also notice there's no huffing and puffing wolves in the country but lots of little piggies...

good question. I've wondered that myself. Who is so rich they can just leave their shoes on the street or throw them over a telephone wire.

One legged people stealing pairs of shoes and throwing one away. My dad was a detective in the polis.

You can understand babies shows getting lost but how do you walk home without your shoes?

You would think you would notice that one foot was suddenly getting colder than the other!!

What about the trainers etc that you see with their laces tied chucked over electricity/phone wires - what is that all about???

You see this on motorways a lot too. Very strange I think.
