The bike would win. They are just too fast over short distances. Those bikes can put down a mid 11 second 1/4 mile. The Z06 is in the 12's. Anything over a 1/4 mile and the vette begins to take over, expecially as speeds get really high. But over short distances bikes are almost unbeatable unless the car is a purpose built drag racer.

Everyone is correct, but here are some numbers I found:

Corvette Z06- 12.2 sec @ 120 mph

Suzuki GSX-R600- 10.6 sec @ 133mph

Let it also be noted that last year a sports car magazine decided to do 0-100-0 tests of some very expensive cars, and just for fun threw in a GSX-R1000.

The Gixxer went from a dead stop to 100mph and back to a stop in under 10 seconds. Faster than a Ferrari Enzo, Porsches, Aston Martins, BMWs, and even the "bike beating" wondercar, the Ariel Atom. In fact, the only one that beat the motorcycle was an F2 race car!

Now if only the squids could learn to use that...

The 600 would win in the 1/4 but in a 1/2 mile i would guess the vett would catch and pass.

So listen to experience here, I raced against a vette with a 600 hp modified engine I was on a GSXR 600 I blew His doors of, From the line in the turns and on the long haul about 2 miles straight he wasn't able to catch me.
So take it from someone who did it.
The fastest I could get my bike to was 286 km/h 172 mph

Modern 600s run the quarter in 10-11 seconds. Corvette z06 cant match that. But if they kept going... eventually the corvette would beat out the bike in top speed as most 600s top out at around 160.

In the quarter mile generally 2 wheels is gonna beat 4.

Oh my...Uncle Red from the Lodge was wrong. Just shot down my last hero. Given the ability of each driver is the same, the bike would win.

In would guess that the bike would win. Its faster off the line and acclerates faster the vette might have a hard time hooking up and spin the tires down the track.

It would be a catch up game for the Vette as the bike will blow it off the line. It would depend on rider/driver skills. but look at the quarter mile test results and you tell me
