His title as The King has nothing to do with writing songs. It was all about him.His looks, his voice And lets not forget the hips!.He was the pioneer for everyone else.If it wasn't for him getting censored you wouldn't have all the stars today .And they can try but they will never imitate him.He was and is unique!!! The King ? You better believe he is!!!

In a time of liberation and uprising, Elvis successfully used both aural and visual mediums to help him become the american pop culture icon that he was and is still today. By combining an attractive visual and appealing vocal talent, Elvis was able to successfully entertain the American youth during the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Despite his poor acting and meager instrumental talents, Elvis Presley became the undisputed "King of Rock 'n Roll".

He deserves the title. He's the King! Anyone who has read about his achievements and all the doors he opened for other performers knows this.

He was original in many other ways: spreading the rock'n'roll mania, his style of dress and dance. Writing own songs is OK, except that other people may perform them better (e.g. Bob Dylan songs)

That man oozed talent from every pore of his body - he had his own style no matter who's music he sang, or how old the song.
His originality was in the delivery, and he shook things up, 'eh?

He was most of the people's hero. I would say that he deserves it because he put alot of effort in his singing. He sang with his whole heart.
