you cannot use a spell that someone else has, it doesn't work like that. if a witch has a spell-book, then the spells inside will work for her and her alone because when a person gets their first spell book it is empty and they fill it up slowly with their own brand of spells. everyone is different and so you need to find out what works for you personally

If you believe in casting spells than you must believe in the '7 fold' that goes along with them! Even if you don't believe in the '7 fold' you would encounter it should you cast unwarranted spells!
Now, there are books out there that have been produced by Witches and Wizards that describe the use of spells and magic. However, the best way to learn these things would be to study, be a student of, such people. There are a million does and don'ts and might I suggest that you follow this advice as it would probably be the best advice you will receive?
Casting spells with knowledge and reading spells than casting them are two entirely different things! If you aren't careful, even the most benign, spell can haunt you forever! A bit like a prayer for Patience, from the Christians God! You believe that if you pray for Patience God will take away the problem, but instead you are given more problems to strengthen that weakness.
Watch what you do, and watch what you ask for!
The books you seek can be found in almost all Librarys around the U.S.. Be specific in your search because most books are written with the intent of teaching the reader about the belief and not just the ritual. Ask for both!

Blessed Be

You can get a lot of stuff off the web. Through Amazon and other book retailers.

I have included a link for some free spells below. The key though is that you want to check it comes from a credible source.

True witchcraft and magick comes from a good, open hearted loving space. And respects the rule never to divine against another's free will.

Also remember that the key ingredient with any spell is you the spell caster.

A witches or magickal practitioners power is their ability to believe with absolute certainty that what they are casting for will happen - and so it becomes.

If you are focused on 'I hope it works' or 'I wish this would work' or 'I am waiting for it to work' - like attracts like - it's a basic law of physics (and foundation of The Craft) and you will attract that back - waiting, hoping, wishing.

And I can vouch from personal experience - many times - that spells do indeed work - and achieving that result never loses its magick :-)

"Spell Books" can be found in a gazillion places. They can be called "Spell Books," but the more proper names are Book of Shadows or Grimoires. You can check Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, "witch" or magic shops, Lleyellyn.com, even the library. You can even make your own spells--if you have the affinity for it--and your own Book of Shadows, however, I suspect you don't know enuf about the subject to go fooling around with charms and spells to begin with; especially since they can backfire on you, or you may not have any magic--organic/real or acquired, or be able to make them happen. And you prolly don't have anything to conduct the flow of power. You can use a "magic finger," but you prolly haven't created one and don't know how. You prolly don't know how to channel a wand, or even how to prepare it. (No, not like in Harry Potter). But since you're interested, perhaps you do have some magic. At any rate, someone in your position can prolly only do simple spells, if at all, and be sure they are harmless to ANYONE--"DO NO HARM," and no love spells. I'm sorry to be so blunt...good luck.

Also, I am not talking Wicca here--that's a religion--no one has to be a Wiccan to be a witch or do magic; 2., if you're good at it, all you need is your mind to channel it, 3. the person speaking about the Salem Witch Trials knows little about what they speak, 4. things come back at you 3-fold, not 10; Halloween shows on the History Channel can be interesting and have some real fact to them, but they only skim the surface, and 5. Harry Potter is fiction.

There is no such thing as a book that casts spells.

As for "casting spells" yourself, if you need a book, you can't. Period.

The craft is nothing to mess with. You can… and probably will get hurt if you don't know what you are doing. and have you ever heard of 3 fold... you know whatever you sent out will come back to you. DON'T DABBLE

Why would you want to do that? I watched a show on TV about witches in Salem Mass. & witches today.
White witch or black witch ALL spells can backfire to you 10 fold and could have serious concequences.
Your messing with fire there don't do it.
