U will get a cd with the Canon webcam, first install the cd and then try connecting the webcam to usb port. after connecting u will see a window to intall the hardware-> select the 2 radio button and go a head to install the webcam. After u done this, its ready to use it.

if you r working with window XP, it will detect automically if you insert the connecting end of the cable to the USB port. just follow on what the comp. suggest you to do.
