My parents had to bring my 98 year old grandmother to the nursing home in our city 3 weeks ago because she fell at the Manor. She's here just temporarily for therapy to get her strength back. Anyways, my son & I made her a homemade candydish and put some hard candies and mints in it. We also made her homemade Valentine cards and a little book with mazes and word search puzzles, just something for her to do while sitting in her chair in her room when she has time.
My son and I like to make our own cards for birthdays and holidays.

The last gift I gave someone was a big teary hug just this afternoon to a young teenage friend whom I have not seen for probably over three years (I am 30 years his senior) and whom has recently moved to live closeby to where I live. He dropped in to see me because he missed me very much as we had a close friendship but through circumstances we just never got see each other all these years.
I guess I was like a big brother/mentor for him. It was a real lifting feeling to know that we had a strong friendship and that I really meant something to him.

I bought my friend a gift voucher to have a perdicure and manicure for her birthday last week and today I bought a baby rattle for my friend who just found out she is pregnant to send to her as a congratulations present

I gave my son a four-wheeler for his birthday about 10 days ago. BTW, he loved it but not as much as my daughter.

this is a easy one,, ... i make rings for , my dear friends, , an to show them , i made a siver friend ship ring an gave it to ,them,,, it take around a mouth to make one, but a good friend is worth the time
