It is not the age! it is when puberty hits and your body start producing testosterone, the more your body produces the more facial hair you will have. don't be in such a hurry to shave , most men hate to do it everyday.

It depends on your genes, and it varies from person to person and race to race. Some guys need to start shaving as soon as they reach puberty (as early as 12) and some not until college. Typically it's around 16, give or take a year. Some have heavy peach fuzz that really needs to be shaved earlier for a clean look. Otherwise, whether to shave the peach fuzz is a matter of personal preference, or sometimes regulations (junior air national guard usually makes boys as young as 12 shave their peach fuzz). If a beard comes in thin and scraggly at first, it's better to shave it off until it starts growing thicker and more uniformly, otherwise teens look like little boys trying to grow a beard. Cute, but not manly. And of course, blonds can get away without shaving for longer than guys with dark hair.

It varies greatly. Usually somewhere between 12 and 20! And you find that at say 14 there are more girls shaving their moustache than there are boys!
