my friend got pregnant in november and her daughter didnt turn a year old until the following february. My daughter is 18 months old and I am pregnant this baby will be due after she turn 2, I think that 2 years is a good age span. She is already being potty trained and will be completely by the time this baby is born.

I did twice. My oldest was 8 month when I got PG with her sister and my middle was 3 months when I got PG with my youngest.Three girls oldest and youngest have 2 and 1/2 years between.I would say that's close. No medical threat but all my teeth are falling out now. They stole all my calcium.Drink lots of milk so your teeth don't suffer later in life.My girls are 14,15 and 16 now.I think its better to have them close cause you get all of it done faster.Meaning you don't have a 12 year old and a new born.My DD friends mom has a 15 year old and a 1 year old a due anytime with her next one.I think that's nuts.I have 5 years till they have all graduated.YEA

I did, my daughter was born July 8 2000 and my younger daughter was born July 25, 2001 when my older daughter was like 3-4 months old. The doctors said it could be a risk but thank god they're healthy

Medical advise is to wait. I'm not sure how long though. Your body takes a beating during pregnancy and birth. The idea is to get your body back in shape and prepared for the next pregnancy. With that said, my children are 15 months apart, 12 months apart and 19 months apart. I wanted them close together and no one discouraged me. All four kids and myself are fine. I do have extremely weak and stretched abdominal muscles. What a small price to pay for four beautiful and wonderful children.

lot of people did ,of course it is wise to wait ,for one the baby you already have under needs time , most woman who get pregnant before the baby's first have not potty trained that baby and also give your body a chance to get over the last birth, your body go through a lot of changes, you would know that, give your self a chance to enjoy your baby you have ,don't rush him or her to grow up

I know many people who have done this. They say that a year is a good amount of time to wait (2 years after a c-section). Getting pregnant sooner than that might not be a good idea it is allot of stress on your body and you haven't full recovered. But a year is definitely good. GOOD LUCK !!
