CD writting wizard error: Error: Can not complete the CD writing wizard in CD-R disk?

Question

When i burn a new blank CD-R in the Cd writing wizard it has this error message:

Error: Can not complete the CD writing wizard

however, when i burn a new blank CD-RW it starts to burn successfully.

What's the problem with burning with a new blank CD-R?

Some CD Burners are Specific to CD-R or CD-RW etc formats;
So long as you know what format yours uses, then that helps in purchasing.
Alternatively, you might be missing a Driver for your CD burner; If it is a New Burner, contact the People you bought it from to check this out

i'm having a similar prob w/ a similar form cd! no count number what i attempt to apply to burn i'm getting mistakes. someone stated replacing the speed that we burn at... not in any respect said an decision for that once burning so as that replaced into out somebody else thinks we are putting too many songs on the cd- er it tells us if we exceed the gap and to eliminate songs... no longer some thing has helped me yet. i am going to discover an 800 # to call and ***** about it. see in the journey that they are going to provide me new blanks or some thing

Try another CD-R, sometimes they are defective from the factory.

Most CD burning software can display the properties of the CD you want to use and will tell you if there's a problem.
