As was said, the accepted score differ, your best bet would be just checking out the colleges on collegeboard. The site has profiles for every college which includes average SAT score for their incoming freshmen. That way, you'll know what your aiming for.

Shoot between a 1700 and 2000 and you'll be in the middle 50% range.

2000 above to get into universities
1600-2000 state colleges
