i can't go fishing. i've been trained by a fishing trainer, i have a fishing pole, i've equipped it, (i can see it across my back), and i'll stand next to a body of water but can't fish. my abilities tab says attack next to my fishing pole. what's wrong?

In your spellbook there should be a 'Fishing' icon
Equip your fishing pole, go to the water and use that icon
NOTE: Each body of water has a "Fishing Skill Level" associated with it. If you start fishing late (I have level 60's who have never fished) you will need to go back to the beginner zones in order to level up your fishing skills. You cannot start fishing in the Eastern Plaguelands

All right this is Wat u have to do man euiped your fishing pole again go into your skills book and in the first skills tab u should find a icon that look like a hook with a worm on in stand next to a body of water but make sure its not shallow then right click on the icon or left click and start fishing if none of this works then u can always get a ticket and wait for a gm to help you out.

equip your fishing rod like you have it go to your skill or spell book go to general skills which has your racial skills and everything and profession skills look for the fishing rod icon that says fish drag that to your action bar then get to a bodied water and click on the fishing rod icon to fish you cannot fish anywhere though if your lvl 1 fishing you have to go to elwynn forest teldrissil or dun morgh and lvl it up i have a 62 who's fishing is 300 and i've found alot of treasure chests fishing for fish ^_^ plus i make deviate savory delights for free :D

i don't know but don't you have to be a certain level to fish?
