Let's state a fact here first: Generalization is ALWAYS wrong, meaning that a single case of a single man who thinks otherwise is enough to revoke your generalized assumption.

I'm a man, and no I don't feel like that at all! For menwho think this way, it is probably according to the way they were raised, and the place they were raised.

Haha, As a guy I have never wanted to tame or dicipline my girl, its more enjoyable in a relationship if she is free, and does not feel contained.
A guy probably does this to show he is unstable or feels unease with certain things his girl is doing.
This should be taken up with the guy in a friendly manner and discussed, on the other hand the guy might just be a controlling freak

By all means girls have the same rights as guys to do these things under emotional pressure.

It comes down to money. Women tend to be much more frugal with money and this requires the man of the house to have to lay down controls and rules.
At the same time men today can be as bad as women are, they just spend on different things and then the woman needs to step up and set a budget.

Discipline my wife? Hey...I have two Golden Retrievers. THEY can be disciplined if need be. My wife? Uh-uh. No way. If you're involved with a man who finds it necessary in his mind to 'discipline' you then may I suggest you begin to make plans to leave this relationship but quick.

umm, i hope you don;t honestly think that is right.. couples may be able to slightly discipline one another, but saying a man discipline a woman just sounds wrong. if this is happening to you and he is making you feel bad, thats not discipline, thats abuse!!

Because they are idiots, If my husband ever tried to discipline me he would be moving back home with his mother and father.
Women are their wives not their children.

If any married woman tells me she never "punishes" her husband for displeasing her, I call them a liar.
They don't do it the same way as men, but they withdraw. Silent treatment. No sex. No kisses. Underhanded comments. They go for the most vunerable parts....

A husband "discipling" a wife? That the F is that? It will be a cold day in Hell I would allow my husband to do that, unless, of course, it was during a sex game!
