Her weight gain after the children has left me feeling disgusted at the sight of her. The only reason that I have continued to stay with her is that she is a good cook and cleans the house pretty good. What should I do?

tough call here. my instinct tells me you should just find a girlfriend. i found a totally hot gf when my wife got to be the same way after kids. i went and found a hotty and introduced her to my wife. my wife lost the weight in a hurry. i still didn't want to give up the gf so we just had her move in with us. if your wife doesn't get jealous of the new gf, then i guess you have to give her the boot....hiring a cook and cleaning lady is less expensive than hiring a "wife"

The first thought that went through my mind is that she should leave your worthless @ss. And trust me, the thought HAS crossed her mind that she's married to a loser. Obviously, though, she is the bigger person and sees the road ahead - you have children together!
Go to therapy and find a way to express your feelings. Sometimes when a man is not attracted to his wife after she has children, it is more mental than physical. Part of being in a relationship is growing together ... and you need to work on your feelings (physical and emotional) TOGETHER.
She is probably not thrilled about the weight gain either, but she is very busy with YOUR children. Why don't YOU try cooking some healthy meals? And why don't you try working out together?

Especially when children are involved ... divorce should NEVER be your first step to change. She is your wife - talk to her instead of us.

Dude there was a time you truly loved her, What happen for sick and for poor and all the other stuff. I believe there is something else at hand.
She can always loose weight if you ask her to work out with you and so on. By the way, hard to find a gal that cooks and clean now a days, so think about it...

If you love her, then offer to help her. Quit asking for fatty, high calorie foods and start requesting more salads and grilled chicken and the like. Watch the kids so she can work out at the gym. But the fact that you used the word 'disgusted' sounds like you're just looking for a reason to let go.

If you do, be a man and do right by your kids.

I have to be honest and say you do seem like an *** for wanting to divorce over wieght issues but, Have you sat down with her and talked nicely about it? Do you encourage her or take the effort to go on walks with her? I am overweight a little from when my Husband and I first met but I have also had 2 kids! He has told me that he wants me to be healthy but he loves me no matter what! Its hard putting yourself first when you become a wife and mother, you lose yourself and your needs tend to go in the closet! Be her encouragement and support without being mean or putting her down!!

You should divorce her of course, not because of the weight, but because it is un fair for her to live with a man who thinks of the wife he chose on mere physical bases. Your life, since this is how you think, is not highly expected to be happy, and if you cannot change your perspective on marriage, then you both deserve a chance with someone who may care for reasons other than her weight.

The question really is, what do you look like? Overweight and balding with a belly hanging over your shirt? By the sounds of what she does and she is good at, you are a lazy slob who relies on her. If all she is, is a maid to you, what do you care what she looks like?

Try treating her like your wife clean up your act. Maybe if you act more like a man, she would be inclined to be more of a woman, than a maid.

why dont u suggest you both work out together. that's egotistical to leave her cause she gain weight, and it was for your children. Not like she did it on purpose.

why dont you do the cooking cook all healthy and you two go walking or ride bikes or hit the gym, make it a dual thing, i mean shoot it was getting pregnate with YOUR CHILDREN that made her that way.

She should divorce your stupid ***!!!!!!!
You need to grow up. This is usually what happens when you have kids, When you have more than 1 kid it is sometimes hard to go back to the way you were before kids.
Any good mother will put her children before herself when it comes to these kinds of things. Just be glad that she hasn't divorced your insensitve disgusting ***.

True love is about appreciating her even more after she'd given birth to your kids. If I were her, I'd leave you because you don't deserve such a good wife. Men like you have insecurity issues deep inside and you blame your partner for your worthless feelings.
