absolutely not- love and sex are very very different- try thinking of sex as a bigmac and love/sex as a steak dinner.Love puts the magic in sex.You shouldnt have to prove your love with sex..in fact a good way to prove there is love-is to wait on the sex until you really know the other person, dont confuse the newness and excitement of a relationship with love, its half lust and half imagination.

That is the oldest line in the book. If you love me you will have sex with me. In reality he or she is saying, I just want sex with you and that is all I care about. Sex has nothing to do with proving you love someone. It is an act of physical bodily functions. It is something that is suppose to be given after your are sure you love him or he loves you. So if you feel you are being pressure before your time, tell him if he really loves you, he would not ask you to have sex with him before you are ready. Or visa versa for a girl to a boy. It is your body. Don't be pressured to do anything before your time.

Sex is not a way to "prove" your love. It proves you are attracted sexually. Love is a whole different game. Love can be proved in the little things, a certain look that lets you know you are the center of his/her universe. A thoughtful gesture. I knew my husband loved me when he gave up smoking because the scent of cigarette smoke makes me sneeze a little. We were just dating then, but it was a hard thing for him to do. When I realized that I loved him, my attitude started changing toward him. I shared more openly and started coming out of my shell.

You do not have to have sex to prove you love someone. Someone who demands sex as proof of love is just interested in sex and may not be in love at all.

I hope you aren't any older than 12 to be asking this question. A girl "proving" her love to a guy by going to bed is as old a scam as there is. That only proves that you are stupid and he is smart enough to get you in the sack. Hope you weren't too dumb to make sure he used a condom.

Not every time you have sex it shows love,
"Humans are the only known animals that have sex for fun"
Sex is not a sign of love although having sex with someone usually is a sign that you trust taht person alot and you do love them.

Ive found out if they can WAIT they love you, if they have sex with you it adds complications and just makes it more difficult esp if your not in a relationship. Its easier to have sex but if they truely love you they can wait to prove it in another way than sex!

Love is strong affection for another, attraction based on sexual desire; affection and tenderness felt by lovers, affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests, warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion.
So in its general meaning love involves parental love to their children, love to my school teacher (admiration), love to the sea (interest and devotion), and love to my girlfriend (attraction based on sex)
Sex may be a ground for love to stand on, but is not a necessity or an integral part of love. If I am in love with someone I do not have to sleep with him/her to prove that I love him. Love is more sublime and more spiritual than a physical union of male and female genitalia accompanied by rhythmic movements called sexual intercourse or coitus.
If sexual intercourse is a sign of love, then I won't sexually intercourse anybody unless I love him/her first, which is not normally the case. Some people go for it just for the physical satisfaction.
Ask yourself... Are the whores downtown in love with their clients when they have sex with them? If they are, and definitely they are not...LOl, we may as well call it love profession not prostitution.

If I understand your question correctly, no. Sex does not always equal love.
