If your body has a low immunity levels, it is very easy to succumb to such conditions where the organisms grow faster causing the infection. Use of some antibiotics can also cause yeast infection.Sometimes physical and mental stress also causes the yeast level to go up considerably. Some reaction due to birth control pills also cause yeast infection. In some cases, infection is caused during mestrual cycles. Finally, diabetic conditions may cause the infection in certain cases.

Solutions:

Take a tampon and dip it in yogurt. Insert in the vagina, twice a day. Continue this remedy for 2-3 extra days after your symptoms go away.

A few drops of tea tree oil poured on a tampon and inserted in the vagina can provide some relief.

Stay away from deodorant sanitary pads and tampons. Avoid sprays and other such external agents as that could cause irritation. Do not remain in wet clothes for a long time. Change into dry ones as soon as possible and dry your affected body parts before changing into a new set of dry clothes

Take a warm bath with 1 cup sea salt and 1 cup apple cider vinegar for about 20-30 minutes. after bath take 2 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar with 8 oz of water 2x per day for 2 days.

If brownish/gray watery discharge with bad odor, go to your OB/GYN and ask about metrogel or Flagyl. Infection that produce a bad odor might be signs of an STD. But if odour is like fish odor, no worry, it is due to yeast only. fishy odor and yeast go together.

Probiotics is the right answer for yeast infection. If you cant make good yogurt, buy lactobasillus acidphylus tablets you get them in a health food stores. Powder them, dissolve it in a few drops of water and rub into infected area. Stops itching.

Most Important: What you do, same thing partner also must do and keep away from each other sexually till this issue is resolved.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

For the smell, maybe use a feminine wash or wipes. I had a yeast infection once, and I used a pill called Canesten. You don't need a prescription and it's at any local pharmacy.Off Topic: I studied sexology so if you have any other questions email me @ techie_freak83@coldmail.ca.

you have more than a yeast infection. you may need anti-bio-tics. Don't take any unless the Dr. prescribes them. Some of them make the infection worse.
If you go back to the same Dr. I'm sure they will see you for free considering they miss diagnosed you.

It is possible that your partner also has the infection, and has passed it back to you. Try natural yoghurt on a tampon to relieve the symptoms, then both go back to the doctor.
