I'm sorry that he broke up with you. The method he used shows that he can't face you. You should text him back and say something like "Bye. I guess you knew that I wasn't all that happy with this arrangement."
Here's the hard part - stay out of the pool for a while. Hang with your girl friends or even male friends with no romantic involvement. Maybe a month, depends on how long you were with the aforementioned loser!
Although, the suggestion to jump in the sack with his best friend (if this loser has one!) did get me to smile.That would really p/o your loser ex, but it won't help you...

I am so sorry! I know that is painful. But a text message? wow, that shows u that he didnt have courage to even face you. Good luck, and as to your answer, yes, please enjoy being single those are some of the best days of your life. I am sure that you are going to find a nice young man, you are a very sweet girl.

Any a**hole who doesn't have the cajones to break up in person isn't worth being with anyway. You should be happy to be rid of him.
And being single DOES have its advantages. If you are unhappy being single, the likelihood is that you will stay single as a result. No one likes a gloomy gus.
