i would like to state that for the meanies against paddys day - that it is not a day for drinking - we have a parade dedicated to st patrick, and we have mass and prayers and banning the snakes from ireland is a myth people, and sorry that st george day isnt as big

but hey a little bit of everyone wants to be IRISH

Yes i will be in Malaga having a beer along side paddy. It as now turned into a good celebration not just for the irish. Its a shame St Georges day is not the same.

If only April 23rd was celebrated just as much - but hey, it's not as sexy as St. Patricks' Day. Could be the reason why we don't celebrate St. George's day is because he is the patron Saint of Catalonia, who knows, but the only people who fly the flags are bald-headed gentlemen with vinegar-smelling breath (so I've been told)!

Yes theres a great weekend ahead in Dublin the only place to be on St. Patricks day but I bet you did'nt know he is'nt even an official saint!! Never formally cannonised by a pope!!
Let the party rock on anyway go to www.stpatricksfestival.ie
to see exactly what's on.

Why is such a fuss made over St Patrick's Day? Why not St George's or David's or Andrew's?

So no. I'm not doing anything special/

Thirty one years ago this year ST Patrick`s Day was one of the most important day`s of the year, but sadly that only lasted for around 16 years and since then all I can feel on that day is complete sadness.
