i have set it to allow in and out conections and all that but it is still being limited by it cause as soon as i close it down the status bar indicats everthing is fine.

I'm not familliar with comodo but you may be able to configure a specific port to be open all of the time, to find the port utorrent is using (there's no standard port) go to options; preferences; connections; and it should be listed under "port used for incoming connections". Also, make sure "randomize port every time utorrent starts" isn't checked. Personally I'd just ditch the firewall and make sure you aren't running any network software with known vulnerabilities (i.e. the free version of realvnc). IMHO firewalls aren't really needed for personal computers with competent users.
