ok, so we start at the beginning...

~SAW I: awesome plot! VERY original!! jigsaw, a deranged cancer patient with a pathological hate for all ppl who dont appreciate their life, decides to take ppl's lives in his hands. when everyone else is simply giving advice and hoping that its followed, he chooses to kidnap ppl he has "marked" and actually MAKE them see that life isnt just given freely, it can be taken away just as easily and u have to FIGHT for it!! as sick as his methods may be, he has a way of passing a message to the world (the viewers of the film). the movie had amazing actors who did a bang-up job and a more than simply talented director, who knew exactly what the fans of pschological thrillers want! i especially loved the way nothing was for certain... no matter what happened, it always surprised u with what happened next! u never knew what was about to hit u until u actually SAW it happening [lol ... no pun intended there... ^_^]! well... my favorite thing about it is that u had no idea who jigsaw was until the VERY end, where the "dead body" on the floor of the bathroom slowly pushes himself off the floor and walks out the door, leaving a terrified, screaming Adam to die alone in the rotting bathroom. that was (for me) the climax of the movie. the mere thought that the killer was right in there with the victims all along gives me a hair-raising chill rolling down my spine.... Brrrrrrr!

~SAW II: not up to standard, if u ask me. after the first episode, the sequal had a LOT of expectations to live up to. my opinion is that although it wasnt completely a waste, it left alot to be desired. honestly, i enjoyed the fact that there were more victims involved, and there was still the factor of ignorance, where u never suspected that Amanda (the druggie) could be part of the old dying geezer's plan, and legacy no less! nevertheless, the fact that the kid's dad was a cop hunting down jigsaw kinda wrecked the thriller effect and sort of turned the whole thing into some twisted police/detective story... anyways, if i were a critic, i'd give it a pity 5/10 (and thats so i dont give it a 4!) generally speaking, it could have been so much better, with just a few tweaks here and there....

~SAW III: pure genius, thats all i have to say about it!!! outstanding work on the directing and even more amazing were the stars. the fact that this time one of his victims was a doctor whose only mission was to keep the geezer's heart beating to keep her SELF breathing made it original. the extra asset that spiced the whole thing up this time was the fact that there was seemingly only ONE person jigsaw wanted to see pass the test was the guy who couldnt get over his son's death. but in reality the real target of the test (and of ALL those other previous murders she helped him commit in the past) was in fact AMANDA!! the woman was one psychotic ***** and he wanted to try and help her get over it by actually letting those who pat their tests LIVE, she failed her tests though, because even those who made it out of their tortures alive..she eventually MURDERED!! in the end, that killed her and i LOVED the finale: the sick (physically AND ALSO mentally) old man dies and takes the secret of the location of an innocent child (the vengeful father's little girl) with him to the grave. it really leaves you with mixed feelings, and lots of confusion and emotional agony over what everyone had been through...and for what? for absolutely nothing, as it turns out!! u remember the poor muscular black fella, who's only crime was that he had once run over a young boy with his car when he was in university (and by accident no less!! he wasnt even a bad person...). where's the justice in that (?), u wonder,,, and u finally figure out that there IS no justice when it comes to this world. **** happens, whether we like it or not, and even things that may SEEM like they r under our control...really may be the things that control US....

BEAUTIFUL MOVIE!! a will-be classic for generations to come! teaches, thrills, scares, and above all...GIVES U THE TIME OF UR LIFE just by watching it!!!!

and here we end....
