Would the Commonwealth become part of Norway or Sweden when their Kings or Princesses came to the top of the list of sucession? Would they have to renounce their old crowns? How does this work for the rest of the commonwealth like Australia and the Caribean.

Yes, I know with a list that long it isn't so plausible, but seriously. What would become of the two states.

Hypothetically could an American Born heir to the throne be King or Queen and be U.S. President? Bush is far removed from the HRH, but he is related...

Brits???

Parliament would have to make the final decision. All the people down to and including 59 in the list are British. The 60th peron is HM King Harald V of Norway. The likelihood of the throne passing to him is extremely remote.

Hmmm, very interesting, in theory if this happened than really anything possible. I mean think about it, what if for some odd, unexplained reason everyone of the 1,000+ people excluding Queen Elizabeth and her grandsons William and Harry died? Well, that means after Queen Elizabeth, William would get it, and if he had no heirs and his wife could not succeed the throne then Harry would go, but what if he had no heirs? They could decide to let their wives have a go at it, but after they died within 50 or so years, than either they would have to find some citizen in the world who had ancestorial links to the British throne, or they would have to decide either to drop it and become a republic, or decide that a member of Parliment could start the "new monarchy". As far as a US president being a King or Queen of Great Britain, well if this ever happened, I would say that it would be years after Bush is out of office so in theory he would just be the King of Great Britain and not both.

They would just choose a non-direct heir to succeed the throne. Other nations could not take over the commonwealth as Britain is officially the head of the commonwealth.

As most European crowns are indeed related, this is not an absurd question. Fortunately, we are long past the period when owning one actually meant anything. I would much rather see gwub as king of England than in his present position.

This may help a little:

Although if you're talking about ALL these people dying then I'm not too sure.
