Ok, so I want to get rid of pubic hair by shaving it off. This sounds so retarded. Do you shave the insides?

Yes, I shave wherever there is hair "down there"

I assume that you mean the insides of your labia? I do. If you're careful, you won't cut yourself. Use a GOOD razor - NOT the dollar store disposable kind. I use the Ladies Shick Silk Effects and I've never cut myself shaving along the delicate lip area. Also, I trim everything BEFORE I shave so that there aren't any real long hairs. I don't use shaving cream, I use what ever body wash I have in the shower and its always something that contains moisturizers. I've also found once you've shaven it, its best to wait a few days before you do it again and let it grow out a little bit before the next shaving. I've had problem with razor burn if I shave too often! That's one place you don't want razor burn!!! I'm too modest to go have that area waxed and I've been shaving since my late teens and I'm now 30.

Good luck!

Here is what I do - shave all the outside. Then I grab the labia and gently go over the areas with hair. They are only going to be on the edge- not completely inside. I use hot water and lots of shaving cream- seems to be easier and smoother for me.
Oh and I forgot a really good thing to do is to shave everything on the outside and then take one hand and put it at the top of your vagina (on the out side) pulling it upward to make the labia skin taught and then just take the razor and shave the labia that way. Gently though. You will get the hang of it.

I'm not a girl, but I know that many women do shave the labia. I don't recommend a razor for that. In fact, I don't recommend a razor for shaving any of the bikini area. An electric shaver works much better.

Ouch shaving the pubic hair can be painful when the hair is growing back and can result in ingrown hair. I would use a depliatory Try a pair of scissors and trim as low as you can use the depliatory around the bikini area. ( Nair) or waxing if you can stand the discomfort .

only if you need to. a wise idea if you've never shaved there before is to pick up a trimmer, like the ones you see on tv, it doesn't get as close as a razor but at least you won't cut yourself. I also recommend using the schick Intuition, it won't give you razor burn and to go with the hair rather than against it like you would shaving your legs.

Where there is hair you should be able to remove it without to much bother. I know a few who perform anal hair removal, but the front is much more sensitive. I dont know anyone who has tried going inside with a shaver.

I discovered this site that has some "interesting" info on just this topic:

http://www.pubichairremoval.net

These days I tend to use Revitol hair removal cream, from memory they talk about it on the website.

Be very careful doing anything "inside" though. Good luck.

If you must shave then shave wherever theres hair, but i strongly recommend you wax. Its smoother for longer and the hair grows back finer.

Be vewwy ceewwfull! I wouldn't. I would use scissors if I had to. But try to shave Outside first then see if you even need to do the "rest" at all.
