i heard this story but they didnt really say if the twin boys found the 2 karat diamond in the rough or if there is some dude out there saying " dam !!!! ... there's my rock". i was just wondering...

they thought it was a really cool rock, brought it home and they're parents freaked. it's worth a few thousand dollars.
it hasn't been shaped yet, so it just looks like a shiney rock.haha

Well...the article did say it was a rough diamond. And I think if I recall correctly, just a few months ago someone found another, larger diamond there.

they were visiting the crater of diamonds state park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. It is the only US Open to the public diamond mine.. It was a raw stone, so expect it to be about 1 carat when faceted.
