In 1969 my friend Reg and I hitch hiked to Vancouver from Ontario. In Vancouver we rented a two room attic apartment for $55 a month. More hippies moved in and my share of the rent was $5, though some of those bums never paid their share. It was a rooftop party all the time. We had a kitchen and a bedroom. One time we all got stoned and drew a giant ostrich on the kitchen wall with oil pastels. I bought an 8mm movie camera from a pawn shop and one morning I heard a fire engine coming down the street so I leaned out of the attic window to film it. The fire truck stopped right in front of our place and the firemen rushed in with axes through our front door. We made our way down to the first floor where a minor fire was in progress in the kitchen wall.
Then I could tell you about Bob who got a girlfriend at the university. He convinced her to front him 3 grand (her tuition money) for a dope deal. Well Bob got burned for the 3 grand. We had a little party in the kitchen one time with his girlfriend's parents who dropped in to meet Bob.
Yes, I would say I attended a rooftop party for a while.

Yes, plenty and rooftop BBQs, where I live people use their roofs like extended gardens, the one thing that makes them better I guess, you get more privacy. Prefer parties back home in Scotland though, more fun.

Never, but it does sound fun. I'd like to have a romantic dinner on a rooftop, preferably in NY City!

yeah we all went to my friends grannys house and had a rooftop party i got hit with a carpet beater and we found an old chamber pot in the garden tee hee

Yes it was fun,but it was a pitched roof and I kept sliding off

Yes, I have, but I've not seen one on the telly so I couldn't really compare.
It was most enjoyable.

been to few...it was better becuz cool breeze helped along....only thing it blew anniversary candles before...main actors could..but made drinks a damn cool pegs

nope but i smoked an drank on my aparment rooftop with some friends...it was ghetto but was fun as hell
