How animal-like do you feel? And how human?

Studies say that we are all 95% animals and only 5% humans. Be in physiologically or mentally (instincts), or any feature-wise. It is the 5% that dominates in us so much that we think like humans.

I don’t think anyone here can answer that question unless they've actually been a nonhuman animal. However, if I were to try and answer, I’d say that I feel 100% animal because as humans, we are taxonomically identified as a species as being part of the animal kingdom. It is the theories of psychology, religion, science (physiology) & philosophy that call us non-animal, and those usually revolve around the fact that we have a much bigger brain capacity than most other animals which gives us the ability to think beyond the natural, animalistic basic thought as to what the importance of life is. And that is to grow, reproduce and survive.

As a teenager I thought about this a lot, and coined the word 'manimal'. Ultimately the same things that drive them, drive us but whilst they just get on with living, we worry our little noddles all day -every day with silly little details. In answer :80% womble, 20% human.

If you asked a cat "how animal-like do you feel, and how feline?" what would you expect it to say?

Personally I think the only answer is: both at the same time.

This morning I felt like a cheetah and went for a 9 mile run. This afternoon I feel like a sloth.

i feel very human, although sometimes i wish i was a cat, sunbathing on the lawn all day sounds good at the mo!
