It is gonna be easy and quick if you both agree to a divorce.
About the cost, you might be entitled to a legal aid or partial off costs.
Better contact a competent civil solicitor and he will explain you all details. And the first thing for the solicitor will be to change your mind about the divorce, bare that in mind.
Sorry to hear that you want to get divorced anyway.....Best of luck!

The answer to this depends on a lot of things such as whether it is amicable or not, whether you are using a solicitor, whether there are children in the marriage, whether it is contested or not etc. etc. Quick and easy divorces are rare as it nearly always ends in tears and fights. However, it CAN be as my husband's ex wanted a quick divorce so she could get married again and let him cite her adultury as grounds and he agreed. They didn't use a solicitor and she paid for it - cheap!!!!

Provided there is no sticky bun fight for shared property then you are looking at approx 3 months. Solicitor's fees vary. Mine was just over £1100.

(UK) Cost me £230. Went to my local county court who gave me the necessary forms and leaflets. They explain everything to you. Took just over 3 months.

We weren't seperated for 2 yrs. I had a good reason. She committed adultery and didn't contest it.

no such thing unless both of you are happy to go straight down the middle with everything, but then you'll always find something to fall out over, even a CD that's you both want.

It all depends on your circumstances, may be entitled to legal aid if on low income or not working etc.

How amicable you are with your estranged husband etc.
