First, the Republican Congress was screaming to get those budget cuts.
Second, Bill Clinton didn't have a war that was filling those VA hospitals with 24,000 casualties. It's been 5 years of Bush war overloading the system. You can't pass this buck on to Clinton.

First of all,,B.Clnton did not cut VA benefits. As a matter of fact, under his watch, the VA increased funding to allow all Vets to sign up for free or reduced medical care. After Bush took offce and appointed Jim Nicholson as head of the VA, it's been all down hill since. Also, during the Bush Admin, the American Legion and Vets of Wars, were not allowed to speak before Congress to plea for more funding for Vets. Get your facts in line. Don't think that Hillary would ever cut funding either. You cons just don't get your facts in line before you accuse someone of something.

Although GWB seems to do what he wants without the permission of congress, unfortunately, when BC was in office he relied on the Republican congress to pass legislation. I can't think of an instance were he decided to pass something without congressional approval, if you can please point out anything to show otherwise, I would greatly appreciate it.
