I have a Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse 2.0 along with a wireless keyboard. Both work great, and since owning them, which is roughly a year and a half, I've changed the batteries ONCE. I also have a Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse for my laptop, have had it for over a year, and still haven't changed the batteries in it. The laptop mouse has a placeholder on its underside for the small USB connector that plugs into the laptop. When not in use, I snap the usb connector in its place on the mouse, and this turns off the power, saving battery life. The desktop mouse & keyboard combo cost me something like $80.00, and the laptop mouse ran me $23.00.

I gotta agree with Rural, If you want a wireless mouse get a higher priced one.
I use 2 I use a Microsoft daily for 8-10 hrs and I replace the batteries in 3 month intervals but I use the heck out of it. I use it with auto cad and other drawing and photo packages. it works great.
I also use a Kensington when I am on the road. it takes only 1 AA and it lasts months. It to is a very accurate mouse. Now if you want blue then just get anything out there as the light color is most important to you...

probable the battery going flat. the only different element is a few kind of glitch supplying you with no mouse action or keyboard action. you are able to stay to tell the story without the keyboard yet you rather desire the mouse to artwork all of the time so be sure you shop a usb related mouse as properly as your instant mouse, purely placed the under pressure mouse tucked away someplace out of sight. additionally, do no longer throw away the under pressure keyboard (or mouse) as you will possibly be able to desire it for get entry to to bios or secure Mode or another occasion the place the instant mouse/keyboard seem to no longer desire to artwork (for some unknown reason). the variety seems to be approximately 2 meters yet must be extra staring on the kind. now and back a instant mouse can intervene with the video card drivers and or different drivers yet that usually happens with older working device like XP or domicile windows 98SE and older hardware. you in straight forward terms might desire to be sure that the container somewhat states what OS that's acceptable.

I overheard a salesman talking to someone about wireless mouses...and I hear they go through batteries like crazy. So keep this in mind, or buy a battery recharger to make it worthwhile.
