As a child, when I asked my mum "where do babies come from" I was told from under a gooseberry bush.

I now have six children so just be be on the safe side I cut the one in our garden down and carted it off to the tip

I was found under a gooseberry bush too! As a young child I was convinced it was the one next to where my grandma lived, cos we used to lean over and pinch gooseberries from there - so I suppose I assumed my mum found me there. Wonder if you were under that same bush or if its a common story our mothers tell us.
